Go through your moles with a fine-tooth comb

Melanoma is the most aggressive and increasingly common cancer. Therefore, preventive examinations are a very important factor for early detection of the disease. On the occasion of Health Day and the upcoming Melanoma Day, we organised videodermatoscopic examinations for our Employees.

The examination of nevi should be carried out once a year, preferably at a check-up with a dermatologist. We wanted to bring the topic to our Employees’ attention, especially as the season of increased sun exposure is about to begin.

The preventive screenings lasted three days and were conducted by the Melanoma Association. 126 employees were screened and 8 were referred by an oncologist for in-depth diagnosis and observation, and another 8 were referred for excision of their nevi.

Firefighters visit Biofarm

Support of local initiatives is one of the pillars in our corporate social responsibility mission. As a response to the needs of a Specialised Rescue Group of the Volunteer Fire Brigade from Poznań we provided two drug donations. We hosted a representation of the Rescue Group at Biofarm who as a gratitute gift shared their rescue missions experience.
