Biofarm team supports raising awareness about autism

This year we became a partner of the charity Niebieska Fala [Blue Wave] run race, the aim of which was to support the Complex of Special Needs School no. 101 in Poznań. In order to protect the health of all participants, the competition was held in a virtual form. Our employees also took part in the race.

At Biofarm, we always encourage our team to take up new challenges in sports and physical activity, because we believe that exercises are one of the foundations of health. Our team of runners rose to the challenge and as many as 22 participants in the company's colours ran in this race.

The Niebieska Fala [Blue Wave] is a charity run in Poznań aiming at raising awareness about autism among the local community. Funds collected during the competition are transferred to institutions educating children with autism. The income from this year's edition was donated to the Complex of Special Needs Schools no. 101 in Poznań.

Due to the unprecedented situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to protect the health of all participants, the run was held in a virtual form. Participants could decide themselves about the place and date of the start.

Firefighters visit Biofarm

Support of local initiatives is one of the pillars in our corporate social responsibility mission. As a response to the needs of a Specialised Rescue Group of the Volunteer Fire Brigade from Poznań we provided two drug donations. We hosted a representation of the Rescue Group at Biofarm who as a gratitute gift shared their rescue missions experience.
